The use of walking AIDS is a technology to help the human body support weight, maintain balance, exercise walking and obtain effective rehabilitation exercises under the condition of ensuring the safety of patients.


The purpose of using a Walker

1. Complete walking AIDS for daily living.
2. Share load to reduce stress load on lower limb joints.
3. Expand lower limb support area, maintain balance, ensure walking safety, and enhance muscle strength and endurance.
4. Exercise upper extremity extensor and related muscles to enhance muscle strength and overall endurance.

How to adjust the height of the walker

Adjust the height of your walker. When the user stands, his/her hands will naturally hang to the sides and his/her wrists will be the same height as the handlebars. When he/she holds the handlebars, his/her elbows will naturally bend 15-30°, which is the correct height for a walker.


Tips for Using a Walker:

1. Before using the walking aid, check whether all the foot pads of the walking aid touch the ground steadily and whether the positioning pins are fixed;
2. When using a walker, do not lean forward or back too much and keep your balance;
3. The walker shall not be too far away from the user when advancing or pushing;
4. When walking, your legs should not be too close to the walker;
5. When using pulley walkers, pay attention to the forward speed, not too fast;
6. Avoid loose slippers and high heels;
7. Do not use on slopes, stairs or uneven ground.
